The sniper hit the medic in the chest, but the bullet did not penetrate the Soldiers SAPI plate. The medic was able to locate the direction of fire and the unit maneuvered on the sniper team. In the insuing skirmish the sniper was wounded, and the medic performed first aid on the sniper that shot him earlier — only an American Soldier could be so benevolent.”
